What is the sum of the smallest and the largest number of fridays the 13th that can occur in any year ?

  3. well i just calculated those...

    in leap year...there can be minimum of 1 friday...and in any other year..we always have Feb and March with same days...the other one comes in nov...

  4. For 13 th of a month to be a friday , first day of that month will have to be sunday. The max and min possibilities for any day to be the first day of the month in a year are 3 and 1 respectively. Hence the sum = 3+1=4
