  3. tats not the right logic.... take for eg 12349586
i ask u to take off 4 no to make this largest three digit number
so according to u it wld be 12345
so i end up with 958

whereas the answer shld be 986

the realise method is.. knock off every small number till the largest number in the largest power of tens place....
    in this case its 9
then again knock off all smallest numbers before the next largest number... which is 8...
as in more like seeing a graph and selling shares at high... and buying at low...

  4. one small correction.... i said take 12349586.. i meant to say take 12349685 :)

    so if u take of 12345 u get 958
where as if i take off 12346 i get 985
